LIBYA CONFLICT

In the Organization of Stateless Nations and Colonies, we are concerned about the tragic drift of the war in Libya, with the terrible consequences for the civilian population, but in the same way, for the political, social and economic stability of the conflict zone.

We want to remember the words of Mahatma Gandhi, when he reminds us that "what is obtained with violence is only maintained with violence", while we are committed to dialogue and generosity as the only possible legal and ethical objective. The wars were never won by who fought the most, but the one who negotiated best.

We therefore call for the immediate ceasefire by all parties to be urgently stopping, and the opening of a table of dialogue and understanding, organized and measured by organizations and foundations for peace.
